Inspired by a series of photographs of Jackson Pollock, Richard Prince’s new body of work is an appropriation of the late artist’s image. And as GuildHall notes,  “Jackson Pollock was one of the leaders of the Abstract Expressionist movement, the quintessentially vanguard art movement in America.”  The opening reception is August 13, 5-6 p.m., and the exhibit runs through October 17.
