Just months before the late and undeniably great typeface and logotype designer Doyald Young passed away, Lynda.com released a short documentary on the man behind some of our culture’s most well-known logos and letterforms. Young also talks about his childhood; he was a high school dropout who read profusely, and dabbled in other jobs before eventually found his passion and career in typography. The video not only offers an enlightening conversation with the man, but also gives viewers visual examples of some of Young’s timeless works.
