Italy’s Esemplare takes technical garments very seriously while retaining the hallmarks of the Italian tailoring tradition. Their Autumn/Winter 2012 collection follows this path. Designer Alessandro Pungetti uses some of the very best technical fabrics and textiles when developing the collection, which speaks to the craft on both the interior and exterior of the garments. “Wool, felt and polyester have been used to create jackets and coats that are at the same time full of character and functional thanks to waterproof treatments” alongside removable liners offer buyers multiple options in wear.

The real standouts in the collection fall on the knitwear side where wools have been worked with “pioneering treatments” and nano-treatments that waterproof the fabrics. This is Esemplare’s best collection to date. Well worth a viewing.

Did we mention they were also a PROJECT Wooster selection this week in Vegas?
