Today we take a first look at the upcoming Tag Heuer Racer. Known for their excellent wristwatches, the brand has recently ventured into the world of smartphones. Next up for release is the new Racer Android touchscreen smartphone, which will become available July 2012.

Made from grade 2 titanium, carbon fiber, black PVD, surgical-grade 316L stainless steel and nano-coated rubber, they did not only concentrate on the appearance, but also made sure that the Android operating system was as advanced as it could possibly be. Also the phone features a 1.0 GHz processor, a high resolution 3.5-inch 16-million colors touchscreen display, a 5.0-megapixels autofocus rear-facing camera, a VGA front-facing camera, 256MB of internal storage and SD card slot expandable up to 16GB. TAG Heuer also added some great TAG-centric multimedia content, including animated widget clocks based on TAG’s most recognizable timepieces.

As mentioned before, the phone will be released July 2012 and will have a price tag of 2800 Euros. Check out the introduction video here below.
