Cool Hunting brings us a peek at these impressive prototype urban bicycles from L.A.-based design “practice” Scout Regalia. Looks like they’ve been practicing a while, because these are some fetching machines with every accoutrement you would likely need for a full day of rolling about a major metropolis (handmade black ash baskets, Brooks leather saddles, canvas panniers and camp blankets).

“We wanted the Scout Regalia Bicycle to take its cues from three distinct bicycle typologies: the English/Dutch town bike, a cycle truck and a mountain bike—all with a distinctly American feel,” the designers inform. Well played. This is definitely the type of thing that would make getting around feel like an artisan pursuit. Production is set for a summer release.

More looks after the jump…
