Where the runway meets the street

Is it graphic design or a graphic of a t-shirt?

One things is for certain: fashion wars start trends – some great, some pure rips. Take for example this “t-shirt of a t-shirt” featuring a prominent Givenchy “Birds of Paradise” print bring sold online for $35. It certainly warrants a conversation on fair use. We wonder how Givenchy thinks of the re-work of their graphic t-shirt in this manner. Do we blame Marc Jacobs for getting this started?

We’d love to know what you think about the new “bootleg.”
