Woolrich just opened their first London store in Soho—home to an antique pagoda, some vintage sporting equipment on the walls and, naturally, some clothes from the various labels of the heritage brand (founded in Pennsylvania in tandem with the railway boom of the 19th century).

Currently stocked with pre-Autumn/Winter 2012 Woolrich John Rich & Bros garments for lads and ladies the store will also carry the Woolrich Woolen Mills line for the season. “We see a strong fall palette of muted colors mixed with tweed, suede, canvas and twill,” we are told. The styling mixes tailored, English traditional clothing, American utilitarian workwear, and modern fit and technology.” Probably worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood.
