Where the runway meets the street

It is summer, and we are doing shit, right? We are also doing shit right: getting dirty, tramping about, looking for answers—such activity calls for things like field shirts, pants with some light water-repellent on the surface and coats for when it gets chilly at night. Marshall Artist wants in on some of that action and here is their Summer 2012 capsule collection to prove it.

“The collection contains a great mix of styles focusing on the themes of 1950s beach and leisure wear and vintage military uniforms from the same period,” we are told. The zoom camo print is a winner on the swim trunks especially, but is solid throughout. Also a good sign when Hawaiian shirts are grandmotherly in the proper way. Watch for it at Togs + Clogs.
