Where the runway meets the street

We featured them in our new Highsnobiety Print Issue 5 and now GQ also gives them some more love – Pharrell Williams and Mark McNairy.

Together the two have worked on the new Beeline by Billionaire Boys Club. McNairy designed an entire capsule collection, including both apparel and footwear, as well as accessories. The New York designer tells GQ in an interview “I always liked what Pharrell did with Billionaire Boys Club—it’s like preppy streetwear. We started by collaborating on one shoe. We talked about doing clothes, and eventually it evolved into a full made-in-the-U.S.A. collection.”

That is how we know him, open for anything new and not shy to also surprise people. Pharrell is the same way and while being mostly known for his music, is also active in fashion, art and many other fields to feed his creative needs.

In the August issue of GQ, the powerhouse duo chat with GQ’s Mark Anthony Green about their unlikely pairing and discuss how they’re changing the streetwear game forever. They also pose in some new items from their debut collection.
