Recently implemented with Microsoft’s Xbox 360 is Xbox Music. The new program offers a cloud-supported music platform for all Microsoft devices. The cloud service will be included in the new Windows 8 when it is released later this month. The new service will unite discographies across platforms and is expected to hold the largest electronic music collection in the world at around 30,000,000 tracks.
With the service Microsoft becomes a direct competitor to Spotify and other music streaming services. With their large XBox customer base, the move certainly has some weight behind it.
What do you think? Can they compete with Spotify?
