Tune in and turn up

Nokia, Some & Co. and Sundance get together to produce what looks to be a fascinating set of films celebrating underground music across America. ‘New American Noise‘ features work from independent directors including Abteen Bagheri, Bob Harlow, Emily Kai Bock and Tyrone Lebon. Telling “the story of music’s evolution in America while also capturing perspectives of music fans from all walks of life,” from Shoegaze in Portland to New Orleans Bounce, NYC’s underground rap scene to the home of just about everything, Detroit, if the teasers are anything to go by we’re in for something pretty sweet. Full set of films on show tomorrow at Sundance Channel, check out some more trailers here.
