Tune in and turn up

If only this were a real music video, kids got verses for days e.g. Eats opponents for breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack. A game without Novak is like cheese without mac. I can’t promise you dinner, cheese or mac but what I can promise is another fantastic round up of this week’s best (actual) music videos.

Darwin Deez – You Can’t Be My Girl (Dir. Keith Schofield)

Parodying ‘found footage’ from the realm of Tumblr, Schofield does a great job of showcasing the Hallmark perception of love in today’s society. Poor old Darwin is left on the outside looking in as he rues missed opportunities and  bears witness to some pretty vomit-inducing couples activities.

Sean Price Feat. Pharoahe Monch – BBQ Sauce (Dir. Todd Angkasuwan)

Watch as Sean and Monch change the history books and generally go to places no rappers have ever been before. Dingleberry Pines is gold.

Disclosure – White Noise Feat. AlunaGeorge (Dir. Luke Monaghan)

The teenage brothers from Surrey continue to take the world by storm with their effortlessly smooth Deep House sounds. This time they’ve teamed up with another huge U.K. duo, AlunaGeorge. This video is a wonderful visual representation of the age-old adage ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover.’

Diplo – Butter’s Theme Feat. Gent & Jawns (Dir. Reuben Dangoor)

This couldn’t be more Diplo if it tried.

Ducktails – Letter Of Intent (Dir. HARRYS)

Ducktails take to Central Park during what Matt Mondanile describes as “the coldest day I’ve ever experienced.” HARRYS manages to create something twee and hipster all at the same time. Check out the video here on Rolling Stone.
