A couple of weeks ago we reported about the new adidas Energy Boost running shoe, which marks a significant turn in the way adidas approaches innovation across all of its brands. Not only is the shoe itself impressive, but luckily this time we will be seeing the Boost technology make it into lifestyle and other sports as well.

“Based on a groundbreaking development process created by adidas partner BASF, the world’s leading chemical company, solid granular material (TPU) is literally blown up and turned into thousands of small energy capsules which make up the footwear’s distinctive midsole. With their unique cell structure, these capsules store and unleash energy more efficiently in every stride.”

After previously presenting the Nike HTM Lunar Flyknit Chukka with our new IN MOTION video series, we now wanted to give you a more detailed look at the adidas Energy Boost. Watch the video now here above.

The adidas Energy Boost sneaker officially releases at retailers tomorrow, February 27, 2013.
