Designer Guillaume Henry is bringing a contemporary feel to the traditional French house of Carven. Now in its third season, the Spring/Summer 2013 Carven menswear collection drew inspiration from the outdoors, referencing the house founder, Carven de Tommaso, who cut clothes from deckchair fabric during the fabric shortages after WW II. This utilitarian feel was translated to the brand’s first collaboration with Japanese accessories brand Porter. Canvas, tweed and nylon are panelled into shapes the style of sports- and aktive wear. All of the bags are made in Japan and finished with leather front slip-pockets.

Both models are now available for you here at Matches.
