London-based online retailer oki-ni, a Highsnobiety regular, has been acquired by French menswear-focused media and e-commerce group MenInvest for an undisclosed amount. The news was announced this morning as “…a key piece of our growth strategy to reach €100 million in revenue by 2016,” said Marc Ménasé, MenInvest’s founder. oki-ni’s co-founders Charles Perez and Ben Banks will join MenInvest as shareholders and advisers for the conglomerate which is looking to fill a geographic gap for the mainly Europe-focused MenInvest, whose flagship apparel retailer Menlook only recently launched an English-language version.

We’ll have to wait and see what kind of changes the acquisition brings about but with MenInvest’s digital marketing expertise, we can only expect good things.
