The news just keeps piling up this week in the world of gadgets and technology. First, Apple gave us a sneak peek at the completely redesigned iOS 7 and Mac Pro. Next, we got a chance to check out the PlayStation 4 which naturally lead to a few upcoming game trailers including this one for Madden 25. Now, Samsung officially unveils the long-rumored GALAXY S4 zoom.

As the first smartphone to offer 10x optical zoom, the GALAXY S4 zoom could just as easily pass for a camera as it can for a phone with its 16-megapixel sensor. The device’s innards are similar to the S4 mini and include a dual-core 1.5GHz Exynos processor, 1.5GB of RAM, and 8 gigs of internal storage. Of course a microSD slot is available too for those that feel the need to document every waking moment of their life. A 4.3-inch screen produces 960 x 540 pixels while the phone runs on Android 4.2.

There is no official release date or price at the moment but early rumors suggest a price point of around $600.
