Where the runway meets the street

Japanese brand Artyz by designer Onozaki Tomo Takashi presents its latest Fall/Winter 2013 lookbook, entitled “Soul Vendors.” The upcoming season’s collection is particularly inspired by the musical legacy of Jamaica’s Alpha Boys School, a catholic institution, which is often credited with influencing the development of ska and reggae. Accordingly, the collection sees a number of smart British menswear staples, including a duffle coat, slim wool pants and chunky knits, set against a mix of streetwear classics such as bomber jackets, down vests and varsity jackets. All in all, Artyz delivers a solid collection well worth spending some pennies on.
