Academy Award-winning actor and producer Tom Hanks, and director Peter Landesman deliver a captivating movie that looks like a surefire Oscar nominee, if not even winner. Revolving around the assassination of John F. Kennedy, which happened pretty much exactly 50 years ago in 1963, the drama focuses mainly on the aftermath in the Dallas community, featuring Paul Giamatti as Abraham Zapruder, who documented the crucial moment on his camera, besides Zach Efron as a young doctor trying to save the president’s life. The movie’s title, by the way, hints at Parkland Memorial Hospital, in which the president was rushed following the tragic incident. The movie is set to hit theaters on September 20.
