Although Madonna‘s latest album MDNA was an absolute flop, selling fewer than one million copies in the U.S., the tour that she launched to go along with her new album was a spectacular success. As you’d expect, fans didn’t spend their hard-earned money to hear any of her new stuff, they went to hear hits like “Vogue,” “Like a Virgin” and “Lucky Star.” Earning her the Top Touring Award at the Billboard Music Awards, the tour grossed $305 million USD… and that’s not including the strong merchandise sales, a clothing line, fragrance, and investments. Forbes estimates the pop star brought in $125 million USD between June 2012 and June 2013.

Other notable names on the list include Steven Spielberg, Simon Cowell, E.L. James (author of Fifty Shades of Grey), Michael Bay, Jerry Bruckheimer, Lady Gaga, Tyler Perry, Tiger Woods, Oprah Winfrey, Robert Downey Jr. and Roger Federer. Head on over to forbes.com for the complete story.
