Portugal’s Maria Motorcycles presents this gorgeous, rebuilt 1976 BMW R75/6. With no overall concept for the bike initially, Maria decided to rethink everything. As Maria’s first BMW R-series build, the company decided to build a bike that felt smaller and sat lower than the original, with the wheels dominating the overall look. The front suspension was rebuilt and shortened a little, with stubby Bitubo shocks dropping the rear end to match. The tank was re-profiled to suit the lower stance, the battery hidden, and the airbox modified to “clean up” the gap behind the engine. Simplistic instrumentation finishes off the build.
