Following “Hinoki” and “Laurel,” Monocle Magazine once again reached out to Japanese cult-brand COMME des GARCONS to produce another collaborative scent. Developed in Paris by Antoine Maisondieu, “Sugi” – named after the Japanese cedar – is a light and sophisticated unisex scent, with top notes of Mediterranean cypress and pepper from Madagascar, followed by iris from Florence and cedar from Virginia, and rounded out with pine and Haitian vetiver. The scent comes in a custom designed Monocle bottle and box and can be purchased at The Monocle Shop’s London, New York, Hong Kong and Toronto locations, as well as online and select retailers including Dover Street Market.
