Copenhagen-based audio company Libratone has unveiled “Loop” – a portable speaker that can stream wirelessly through various technologies. The device works with both Airplay and DLNA to deliver high-resolution stereo sound from your iPhone, iPad, Android and Mac/PC. By also using Libratone’s PlayDirect technology, the speaker functions without a Wi-Fi network by streaming from internet radio stations and services such as Pandora and Spotify, and also connects with TVs and home entertainment systems.

The savvy Danish design features a cordless disc-shaped speaker that comes with interchangeable Italian wool covers in eight color options, including classic black and grey. The duo-stand legs allow for easy placement on a table or shelf, or alternatively the device can be wall-mounted. Retailing for €499 euros, you can pick one up here.
