Nordstrom recently launched its “Pop-In @ Nordstrom” series, a new retail initiative conceived and curated by Olivia Kim. “Pop-In @ Nordstrom” is an ongoing series of pop-up shops that will open in eight select Nordstrom stores and online. The first edition is a homage to “all things French” and features a range of emerging designers as well as top brands including Olympia Le-Tan, Maison Kitsuné, Kenzo, Proenza Schouler, Venessa Arizaga, Saint James, Chatelles, Rodarte, Maison Michel and more. The pop-up installations were designed by architect Rafael de Cárdenas, and M/M (Paris) developed the visual identity. The “Pop-In @ Nordstrom” series is Kim’s first project since becoming the brand’s director of creative projects, Kim was formerly vice president of creative at Opening Ceremony.
