Brazil will play host to the 2014 FIFA World Cup and today Nike unveiled the official National Team Kit of the host. The classic and clean design of the new kit does not show the vast amount of technology that has been packed into it. “By using a combination of Nike Dri-FIT Technology, “burnout” mesh and laser-cut ventilation holes, designers are able to localize cooling where players need it most.” Furthermore Nike continues to make sure that its products have the least environmental impact possible. That said, the shirt, shorts, and even the socks all feature fabric made from recycled plastic bottles.

The Brazil kit is now available in Nike stores and on for pre-order from November 24 and will be for sale worldwide from December 5.
