The New York Times recently sat down with Heron Preston, the founder of Been Trill, to discuss the New Yorker’s future plans and aspirations. In addition to learning about Preston’s desire to design products in collaboration with NASA, the newspaper touched upon his plans to open the brand’s “first boutique, a micro-storefront on Canal Street and Broadway.” Regarding the store, Preston commented:

We’re literally up in one of those rinky-dink souvenir malls, across from us they sell pipes and bongs and cellphone cases and fake purses. We’re smack dab in the middle of that and we couldn’t be happier.

Afterwards, stores are planned for both Los Angeles and Hong Kong. For the full piece, head over here.
