Where the runway meets the street

Levi’s Vintage Clothing presents a collection of goods inspired by the spirit and heritage of American workwear for the Spring/Summer 2014 season. Reproducing the fits, fabrics and details of bygone eras, Levi’s sources materials from their own archive in their latest collection based around the 1939 World Fair which took place on Treasure Island – a man-made island in the San Francisco Bay. Levi’s joined the hometown festivities by building an all-electric mechanical rodeo. The futuristic attraction featured 31 wooden puppets that were carved in the likeness of real-life rodeo stars and dressed in custom-made waist overalls, rodeo shirts and hats. To celebrate the 75th anniversary of this moment in the brand’s history, Levi’s reproduced a selection of the garments worn by the puppets in the all-electric, mechanical rodeo. Shop the collection now straight from the source.
