American retailer J.Crew teams up with New Balance to rework the sneaker brand’s iconic 998 silhouette. Presented in an arresting “Inferno” colorway, the sneaker features a bright red suede upper set off by deep purple accents atop their signature “Absorbz” rubber sole. The sneakers are constructed at New Balance’s factory in Skowhegan, Maine and will be available beginning January 29 at select J.Crew locations and online.
