Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and if you haven’t found your girlfriend/wife/significant other a gift yet, you best get to thinking. There’s a lot of gifts out there that completely scream Valentine’s, and honestly won’t make for much more than a fleeting holiday treat. We put together a collection of items we think will last well beyond the initial excitement of the occasion, and for the most part, something she will use frequently and remember you by. See below for our picks.

Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Camera

This vintage-inspired camera prints mini polaroids about the size of a credit card. If your girl isn’t one for pink, Fujifilm also offers a clean white version. ($100)

Moet & Chandon “Link Your Love” by Tyrsa

What’s a special occasion without some champaign? Moet & Chandon worked with Parisian graphic designer Tyrsa to create this limited -edition set for Valentine’s Day called “Link Your Love.”

Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Leather Knot Bracelet

Shiny jewelry is nice and will most likely win her heart, but why not go for something a little more unexpected? We like this knot bracelet woven from red and burgundy leather strands. We think she’ll wear this one for a while. ($250)

Cire Trudon Yazbukey Limited Edition Candle

Cire Trudon works with designer Yazbukey to produce this violet and “new leather” scented candle. The wax sits in a hand-blown glass jar, and is packaged in an illustrated box by Yaz’s signature “C’est ahh” lips.  Once again, a nice alternative to the typical department store V-Day gift, and is considered a collectors item by many. ($95)

Happy Socks Rose Pattern Socks

We love these all-over rose print socks by Happy Socks. Perfect for her “workout look” or just to keep warm around the house. These are quite fitting for the holiday, but cheap enough to buy a few pairs for all year round. ($12)

Barbara Kruger Beach Towel

We typically wouldn’t advise buying anything from a hotel gift shop, but The Standard Hotel New York is a different story. This Barbara Kruger beach towel caught our eye amongst many other special art items, books, and other trinkets that make great gifts. If you happen to stay in Manhattan, we suggest popping in for a look. You can also find it online for $95.

House Industries Love Heart Wood Blocks

House Industries is an in-house favorite. The company never fails to produce incredible graphic, typographic, and design work for some of the most demanding clients around the world. As well as being one of the best out for hire, House also produces a great line of design objects like these multi-lingual Love Heart Wood Blocks. The typographic masters placed the word “love” perfectly inside of a heart, in twelve different languages. ($20)

Baron Von Fancy for Paperless Post Stationery

Although a hand-written note may be the most forgotten of pleasantries, Paperless Post make it quick and easy to send your loved one a special card online. Artist Baron Von Fancy made a collection of special cards for the occasion. Whether you need to send your lady something last-minute or an invite to a V-Day party, head to Paperless Post.

Louis Vuitton Coin Purse

If this doesn’t win you brownie points, we’re not sure what will. Louis Vuitton created this monogram coin purse in what we presume to be in Valentine spirit. If the bank allows for it, this is the win-all gift. ($595)

Mondaine Stop2Go Watch

Swiss watchmaker Mondaine release a limited-edition Stop2Go timepiece for Valentine’s Day. This minimal red leather strap watch is an easy daily wear, but still fits the gift giving occasion. Mondaine also makes a standard black option so you can match your significant other.
