Where the runway meets the street

American designer Billy Reid presents his Fall/Winter 2014 collection in New York, with an emphasis on warm winter colors and fabrics. Sticking to a palette of cream, camel, navy, grey and blue, the collection sticks to Reid’s signature “lo-fi Southern-bred luxury” style with classic tailoring in the season’s more relaxed silhouettes. Premium features come in the form of fur jackets and detailing on collars, lapels and lining, while a wide array of prints including plaid, houndstooth, striped and chevron patterns decorated the clothing. Overall the collection made for a sophisticated yet modest take on modern menswear.
