Serving as the sequel to 2013’s wildly-successful micro-budget thriller, The Purge, which made $90 million USD last year, we now get the sequel entitled The Purge: Anarchy. Trading the contained thriller elements of the first – and with a whole new cast – the teaser suggests a lot more of a view of what it’s like to be on the streets during the 12-hour period when anything goes. James DeMonaco returns as writer/director and leads a cast including Frank Grillo, Zach Gilford, Kiele Sanchez, Michael K. Williams, Carmen Ejogo and Zoe Soul. The Purge: Anarchy hits theaters June 20.
