Pitsou Kedem Architects built the modernist Ramat Hasharon House in Israel. The central space of the home – where the kitchen, living and dining rooms reside – is open on either side which lends to an immense amount of natural light throughout home. The structure was built around courtyards on differing levels: a front courtyard has been excavated three meters, and a rear courtyard sits on ground level. Like a garage door, the back of the home slides open to reveal a pool, creating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor space.
