Where form meets function

British Industrial Designer Samuel Wilkinson puts together this colorful stationery set, Babylon, for French brand Lexon. Six pieces in total; alarm clocks, scissors, staplers, tape dispensers, pens and pen cups are formed into geometric shapes using matte finish injection moulded plastic, shades of red, yellow and blue alongside more subdued greys. Inspired by rock strata, Wilkinson explains “the aim was to create an aesthetic, tactile set of objects that work as well in the office as in the home. Each object had to have its own character and individuality but still look coherent in a group.” See the set in action below and view the collection in our gallery.
