BERLIN and LONDON: Seek No Further – Fruit of the Loom’s Concept Stores

Fruit of the Loom jumps into conceptual retail with a new label and stores under the “Seek No Further” name. NEW YORK CITY: Warby Parker Upper East Side

Warby Parker open a new store on Lexington Avenue in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The eyewear brand’s third New York retail expansion is housed in the former Lascoff Drugs pharmacy built in the 1920s, whose original check terrazzo floors, cathedral ceilings and gothic windows are kept in their original form. 1209 Lexington Ave.


TOKYO: Todd Snyder “The Townhouse” Flagship Store

Todd Snyder expand their retail reach into Tokyo, Japan with the opening of “The Townhouse,” featuring shops on lower floors and a whiskey bar that also serves up Stumptown Coffee. Not a bad deal. 6-18-14 Jingumae Shibuya-ku.



Honolulu locals, Dean and Cassy Song, opened MONO after being inspired by retail spaces they discovered during a trip to Tokyo, Japan. Focused on small goods and accessories, MONO plan to expand into more categories in the coming year. 2013 South King Street.


BROOKLYN: Aesop Pop-Up Shop Inside The Invisible Dog Art Center

Architect Frida Escobedo designed the interior of the new Aesop pop-up shop inside Brooklyn’s Invisible Dog Art Center. Carrying a full range of the apothecary’s grooming products, the new pop-up remains open through the end of July. 51 Bergen Street.
