Following our interview with Rafael Grampá and our presentation of the film, we now take a look back at the “#NEXTFRAME by Absolut” event held on Friday, March 14 at the MADE by Absolut space in Berlin. In addition to the world premier of “Dark Noir,” the event included live music and, of course, an open bar.

To recap, Absolut wanted to give Grampá the chance to transform his craft from 2D sketches into 3D animated characters, by giving him the opportunity to assume the role of director for the first time. The interactive project invited fans to propose story development ideas on the Absolut Facebook page, with the artist personally selecting his favorites and incorporating them into an animated film. The resulting film was seen in Berlin for the first time before being made available online to the general public.

Enjoy a recap of the event above and watch the making of “Dark Noir” below.
