An icon in the diving world, and probably the most iconic diving watch on the planet, Rolex presents the latest version of it, the Sea-Dweller 4000, at this year’s Baselworld 2014.

The newly updated Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller 4000 comes as a 40mm diameter technical model, waterproof to a depth of 1,220 meters (4,000 feet), and features all the latest Rolex standards of innovation: Cerachrom bezel insert in a ceramic virtually impervious to scratches and ultraviolet rays, Chromalight display with long-lasting luminescence, paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, Oysterlock safety clasp, and the Rolex Glidelock extension system. Last but not least, the watch of course comes with the groundbreaking function for which the Sea-Dweller is renowned, the helium escape valve.

Look out for a release of the new Rolex Sea-Dweller 4000 in the coming months.
