Where form meets function

2 Verandas by Swiss architect Gus Wüstemann is a modern luxury pool house overlooking Lake Zurich. Made entirely of raw concrete, oak and travertine, the residence is visually weighty, with surfaces that are both smooth and textural. The house is defined by open volumes that make the interior seem expansive, with windows replaced by wide floor-to-ceiling openings. Built-in wall seating and floor lights add the element of out-of-the-ordinary luxury to the sleek home. Browse the gallery.
