Berlin-based product designer Mark Braun creates his first timepiece with the help of German watch makers Nomos Glashütte. Inspired by the metro, it bears red and mint green colors commonly found on subway maps, encased in a stainless steel case with sapphire crystal glass. The dial and hands are silver-plated which stand out nicely against the black Horween leather straps. All of the timepiece’s internal elements are built in-house at Glashütte, aimed at long-term functionality rather than seasonal design. The overall silhouette of the watch is “unusually thin,” which, according to Glashütte, is “flattering to the wrist, the arm, and the eyes.” See all the tech specs here.
