In his latest round of work, miniature sculptor (or should that be sculptor of miniatures?) Hoang Trang has carved out the faces of some of our best-loved pop culture icons, all from the tips of every child’s favorite artistic medium: the Crayola Crayon. Using nothing but a sharp point, a spot of paint, and some very keen eyes, Trang has re-imagined characters from across the Disney and Star Wars universes in colored wax, along with a handful of other cult figures. We couldn’t tell you how long each one took to create, but we can tell you how much we would’ve enjoyed drawing pictures with the Green Power Ranger as a child. The answer is, a lot.
