In the run up to the ever-nearing 2014 FIFA World Cup, Nike has created a brand new football campaign. “Risk Everything” is a series of three 15-second films, the first of which launches today and stars football legend Wayne Rooney. Each animated short features a different member of the England team, all showing how risk is just an integral part of their DNA. The first film, titled “Attempt the Unthinkable,” opens with Rooney taking the ball in a match against Brazil and as he makes his way to the goal, the opposition’s team bus is driven straight onto the pitch to distract him. Little do they know that Rooney’s laser beam shots are no match for that kind of obstruction.

Stay tuned for two more films to be unveiled later in the week, starring Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Jack Wilshere in “Fear Nothing” and “Never Play it Safe.”
