Classic Danish furniture maker Fritz Hansen has handpicked Han Kjøbenhavn to design a limited edition version of the iconic Grand Prix chair originally designed by Arne Jacobsen. Using their signature aesthetics, the fashion label added their own twist to the renowned Scandinavian design. The result is a contemporary interpretation of the Grand Prix which, like the original, focuses on craftsmanship, materials and aesthetic qualities.

The back frame of the chair is bended in steel with a 4mm linen thread creating a diamond pattern within the frame, while the seat has been created in two variations: oak and walnut. Handmade in Denmark, the legs are oak wood with a black lacquer finish. The chair is produced in limited quantities and is currently being showcased in Han Kjøbenhavn’s stores in Copenhagen and New York.
