MANCHESTER: Gol! World Cup Exhibit at TwentyTwentyTwo

Hey Studio and Studio DBD partner on Gol!, a set of illustrations and booklet on FIFA World Cup players. Hey’s signature graphic figurines show up as a playful Rooney, Drogba, Messi and Ronaldo among others, one player from each competing country. The paperbound book and illustrations will be sold at TwentyTwentyTwo, the Manchester restaurant and bar that commissioned the project. Find more info on the exhibit here. RIO DE JANEIRO: Casa Fat Radish Pop-Up Clubhouse

Absolut Elyx commission a month-long pop-up clubhouse in Rio de Janeiro for the World Cup by The Fat Radish. The Casa FR is taking place in a private 19th-century villa called The Mansion, and includes game screening rooms, private dining rooms and a spa. Staying true to Brazil’s current patriotic spirit, Absolut Elyx offer cocktails made with ingredients sourced locally from the country. You must be a member to enter. PARIS: Daniel Arsham‘s “The Future Is Always Now” at Galerie Perrotin

Daniel Arsham is holding his ninth solo exhibition at Galerie Perrotin Paris. He showcases his iconic eroded sculptures referred to as “future relics,” this time with a focus on musical instruments. BERLIN: Temporary Showroom Concept Store

Temporary Showroom, a Berlin-based PR and sales agency, open a concept store for the upcoming Berlin Fashion Week. The space stocks the likes Opening CeremonySoulland and Sandqvist, and will be the venue for ODEUR’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection presentation. Kastanienallee 36a, 10435.


TOKYO: Hotel Emanon Shop & Cafe in Shibuya

An interesting one here: A hotel that’s not a hotel. Despite its name, Tokyo’s Hotel Emanon is not what it says. The cafe/shop is a conceptual dining and retail “experience” space, where everything — from the food, drinks and housewares to the furniture — are purchasable. Similar idea as The Line but with food. TAIPEI: Beauty & Youth United Arrows Store

Beauty & Youth United Arrows opens up shop in the heart of Taipei City, marking the famous retailer’s first venture out of its home country of Japan. The boutique is clad in warm wood, white walls, and houses stocks an array of exotic plants that make for a welcoming environment. NEW YORK: InSITU Pop-Up Exhibit

An aspiring collector, you say? Meet InSITU: an online marketplace for contemporary art. SEOUL: Nike Brand Experience Store by Ji-Sung Park in Gangnam

Nike open a three-story flagship in Seoul’s Gangnam district. It’s the first Nike store of its scale outside of the brand’s prime locations like New York and London and the largest sports store in Korea. LONDON: “Return of the Rudeboy” Exhibit

Somerset House curates an exhibition, filled with intriguing sounds, visuals, photographs and briefcases, dedicated to the Rudeboy movement. TOKYO: Apple Store in Omotesando

WOLRDWIDE: Juun. J and Josh Luke Pop-Up Stores

Once again Designer Juun.J and artist Josh Luke team up on a capsule collection, and to kick it off, they open 11 exclusive pop-up locations in eight countries. Locations are: L’eclaireur Paris; 10 Corso Como Milan; Opening Ceremony NY & LA; Galleria Seoul; Club 21 Singapore; Lazy Hazy Planet Tokyo; Marais Melbourne; and Joyce Beijing, HK & Shanghai.
