Inspired by the aesthetics and glamour of the ’60s and ’70s, Boglioli introduces its upcoming Spring/Summer 2015 collection. Pale blue stripes on the white jacquard piqué of espadrilles creates a custom fabric used for new jacket shapes and a horizontal striped double breasted blazer. A new type of Japanese ultra-light wool has been used throughout the collection to reinvent the concept of “cool wool.” Additionally, a triumph of lightness in suits and coats is the result of a new formal silhouette—marked shoulders and tapered jackets tailor the body without traces of its complex construction. New attention has also been dedicated to a modern interpretation of chino pants, and knitwear and shirting are characterized by similar bespoke practices employed with suiting.
