Acne Studio’s creative director, Jonny Johansson, describes the theme of their ’50s tinged men’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection as a holy union between the “pureness found in sportswear” paired with a range of unique, luxurious fabrics. The collection demonstrates more of the twisted simplicity that the Swedish brand is known for, while playing with severe cuts and shapes shown off in the likes of the wide leg trousers, oversized tees, those Beckham-esque slouchy beanie hats and a long length sweater with triple ‘A’ branding. A decidedly wearable line this time round, familiar pieces given the Acne treatment.
