While the conflation of high fashion with sneaker culture has been occuring on the runways of Milan and Paris for more than a decade, it is only in the last 24 months that the trend has come to the forefront of the mainstream. adidas, more than any other footwear maker, has fueled this merger aligning themselves quickly with high fashion designers to provide retail-friendly, and, at times, affordable footwear collections to the masses from the likes of Yohji Yamamoto, Jeremy Scott and Rick Owens. Today, adidas continues to support high fashion with the addition of  South Korea’s Juun.J to their roster.

Debuted in his show during Paris Men’s Fashion Week, adidas by Juun.J collection revisits the classic Superstar 80s with all-black and all-white colorways in both low and high-cut versions. The collection hits retail and online shop February 2015.
