Where form meets function

Daniel Libeskind traveled to the foothills of West Connecticut to build this sharply angular home. Made of dark stainless steel and bronze, the residence contrasts its surrounding greenery, functioning as a visual accent to the otherwise plain pasture. The sides are mirrored, uniquely reflecting the sky and trees that change the look of the facades with every passing moment. The angular linearity continues inside, with rich wooden walls, ceilings, shelves and fixtures coupled with bronze accents and off-white upholstery. Our favorite feature of the dwelling is the waterfall shower that is hidden in a cave-like cove.
