Where form meets function

Hennessey follows up their record-breaking Venom GT with the menacing GT F5. Based on the Fujita scale – a scale for rating tornado intensity – the strongest tornado clocks winds of 261 to 318 mph and is appropriately dubbed an F5, hence the hypercar’s suffix. A 7.0L twin-turbo V8 engine powers the beast of a car and is rumored to produce more than 1,400 horsepower for a potential top speed of 290 mph. Race enthusiasts will be pleased to hear the GT F5 comes equipped with GPS traction control that can be set to specific race tracks around the world while the manual found in its predecessor will be switched out with a single-clutch paddle shift transmission to save weight. Hennessey plans to begin production of the F5 in 2016 and 30 units will be built at a price of $1.2 million dollars.
