Today Leica has announced the new M-P 240, a minimal, yet important upgrade to its existing flagship M 240 model. The new version of the camera comes with a series of improvements, including a scratch-resistant display cover made of sapphire glass, long-lasting readiness to capture due to a large double-sized image buffer of 2GB, pure look without the Leica Logo and “M” lettering on the front side, and manual viewfinder frame selection with the traditional “frame selector.” Leica went as far as removing the red dot logo altogether and we love the minimal design of the new M-P 240. The camera will become available in silver chrome from the end of August and in all-black from mid September. You can pre-order the new Leica M-P 240 now for $7,950 here.
