Where form meets function

After releasing their Beats by Dre Pill 2.0 “Safari,” ColorWare debuts the Sony DualShock 4 “Glow.” Recognized for their excellence in customizing high-end electronics, ColorWare’s paint technicians spent countless hours perfecting this painting technique. Although the process is similar to the hand-spraying technique used on most of their products, the paint consistency is different. It takes a graceful hand and a watchful eye to ensure painting perfection; the product goes through a labor-intensive process of disassembly, cleaning, masking, painting and inspection. Then, the product is buffed and reassembled. Lastly, the product goes through final inspection and is packaged into the original packaging. With only 100 made, the DualShock 4 Glow is now available at the company’s online store for $199 USD and ships in about two to three weeks.
