Like many of their competitors, Moleskine, the popular notebook and journal company, is taking a hybrid approach in entering the modern era of digital note taking. The company’s new notebook series, Livescribe notebooks, are another step into blending both analog and digital worlds. Specially designed to work with Livescribe smartpens, the new notebooks carry “smart dots” that are recognized by Livescribe pens allowing for each pen stroke to be recorded and transcribed digitally via their Livescribe+ app. For Moleskine users, it doesn’t get any easier to back up your physical notes. Two versions of the Moleskine Livescribe notebooks are available now through their webshop for $30.
