No COMME des GARCONS campaign would be complete without their immensely popular PLAY range. With its animated heart-with-eyes identity, created by graphic designer Filip Pagowski, it is instantly recognizable and has carried through from its initial product line of T-shirts and hoodies into polos, knitwear, basketball hi-tops and even a fragrance. PLAY successfully bridges the gap between high-end fashion and accessible price-points. For Dover Street Market’s 10th anniversary, which Highsnobiety has been flagging up in a series of daily posts all this week, COMME has prepared a range of PLAY garments that will be exclusively available through the DSM London store.

This particular group were created for The Good Design Shop which is opening a branch, after a successful trading season in DSM New York this spring. They depart from the usual PLAY items in that the cotton has been overdyed, infusing each T-shirt or Polo with that classic CdG “lived-in” finish.

Available from Monday, September 1 in the Basement, prices range from £48 to £100 and are limited to two pieces in each style. Highsnobiety will be exploring the redesigned Dover Street Market London as soon as it opens for trading tomorrow.
